he movie is about the greatest technological inventions in the history of the world , the inventions that changed the perspective of ordinary people towards the computers. The machine that was used in industries became a part of their lives certainly not that important then. The movie shows the growth of PCs It also shows the era of competition between Apple, Microsoft and IBM.
Movie revolves around the lives of two geniuses Bill Gates and Steve jobs its narrated by Steve Wozniak. It starts with Steve Jobs saying “We are here to make identity in the universe otherwise why would we be here” the line shows how dedicated committed and passionate Steve jobs was to make a mark in the world. He had an artistic vision. He created the whole company through his handwork, vision and passion. Passion is something that could turn impossibilities into possibilities. These guys Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, bill gates had that passion that energy. Being a visionary Steve saw always saw things differently he always observed something extraordinary in ordinary things.
Meanwhile Gates has been shown as a messy guy having craze for computers. Gates along with his friend Paul is developing a computer language. Bill gates started working in a warehouse while Steve jobs worked in a garage. So if you don’t have resources you can still excel. So Jobs and Wozniak started making apple computers, this wasn’t huge until they found a financer named Mike .Then the apple company through the vision and hard work of jobs progressed rapidly. Jobs was a slave driver. He used to yell at his people. He has problems in his personal life which he couldn’t handle.
Bill on the other hand was taking a huge risk selling software to IBM, the biggest giant of computer, that they didn’t even posses. He went to IBM and convinced them confidently that he had DOS to compete with Apple. After the launching of Apple’s GUI Bill also stole Apple’s system. The film concluded surprising its viewers that jobs stole from Xerox and Bill stole from Apple so both did the same thing. Both of them were pirates.
The film also covered some historical aspects such as Bill Gates going to Jail, showed Harvard University
In my opinion it was a great informative as well as interesting. There were so many inspirational lines in the film on which a person could think for hours such as Bill Gates saying “you know how to survive? You survive because you make them need what you have and then they have no where else to go “. Formula for success Right? And Steve Wozniak saying “All of a sudden we are working harder than our fathers who we laughed on how harder they work “So yes to succeed you need to work hard. The movie also teaches us to be successful you need a vision it’s the key .People with vision and dedication always succeed whether they have money or not but people with money and no vision are mostly failures I loved the movie Don’t forget to share your thoughts on it :)
